Is he buried under the monument or on the grounds? Looks like there's water around him. Interesting place to put his statue.

Were you there in the last week? Did you look at the second side of the little pond where the morehen nest is? I went over last Monday to take photos of the morechicks and then found myself photographing a pigeon between Lord Holland's legs.

Jill, I didn't research where he was buried. We were in Holland Park, and there he was. On our tour of Kensal Green Cemetery, some days later, we met Peter Matthews, who has written a Shire book, Who'se Buried Where in London, which might contain the answer.

Ms. Jen, we did look at the pond, and saw various birds, but it was a while ago, and I will have to check to see if I have any photos.
